Last Spring, DeKalb County School District held meetings for community input on new schools locations, additions to current schools and current property use.  All meetings were publicized and open to the public. DCSD then held steering committee input meetings on several options. DCSD is now releasing their proposal from all these sessions on August 23rd at noon.  Click here for information.

DCSD will present their proposal at two public meetings.  At these meetings staff will present recommendations for middle and high school feeder patterns, re-clustering attendance areas, additions to schools and new/replacement schools.  This may include several options or one.

An online feedback survey will be available from 8/23-9/8 at 11:59pm. Stakeholder feedback from these meetings and the online survey will be incorporated into the 2017-2022 SPLOST list (Building S.P.A.C.E.S) later this Fall.  The school board will vote on new facilities in December of this year.

Go to meetings. Complete the survey.
